Incentives offered during the campaign
As part of the Adopt a Shelter Dog Month campaign, an incentive will be offered to eligible customers:
$25 Donation to the Humane Society of the United States
For every Lemonade Pet Insurance policy sold through the outlined methods during the campaign period (October 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024) in eligible states (California and Florida), Lemonade will donate $25 to the Humane Society of the United States.
Lemonade is subject to a minimum donation of $10,000 and a maximum donation of $50,000 for the duration of the campaign.
Campaign duration
The Adopt a Shelter Dog Month campaign will run from October 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024. To be eligible for the donation, customers must purchase a Lemonade Pet Insurance policy within this period.
Eligible states
This campaign is available only to customers residing in California and Florida. Purchases made outside of these states will not be eligible for the donation to the Humane Society of the United States.
How to become eligible for campaign incentives
To be eligible for the incentives offered during this campaign, customers must complete the following steps:
- If visiting from official Lemonade channels (such as ads or emails), customers must visit the dedicated campaign landing page, complete the Lemonade Pet Insurance application, and purchase a policy through the links on the campaign page, which include UTM tracking to verify participation. The onboarding flow will be identical to the flow seen by all other customers, but it will include the UTM tracking.
- If accessing the campaign via a partner website (e.g., Forbes Advisor), customers can complete the application and purchase directly through the partner’s website experience. Lemonade will track the audience segment to determine eligibility for the campaign incentives. The onboarding flow will be identical to the flow seen by all other customers purchasing Lemonade Pet policies through the relevant partner website, but it will include the UTM tracking.
- Only purchases from residents of California or Florida and made through the appropriate channels during the campaign period will be eligible for the promotional incentives, regardless of the entry point (campaign page or partner website).
By following these steps and purchasing a Lemonade pet insurance policy, customers will automatically qualify for the campaign’s exclusive offers and donations.
